Incoming international students!

The number of incoming international students not only under LLP/Erasmus but also under Nordplus mobility scheme increases with every semester. We are interested in how they evaluate the time spent here in our academy and also what they want to tell for upcoming international students.
The International cooperation specialist Inga Ščerbinska has summarized the opinions of students about their studies here in RTTEMA and the life in Riga.

It has been more than 3 months since I arrived in the airport here in Riga.
Now, after all of that weeks spending here I can say that I will remember this experience for the rest of my life.
I remember as me and Gabika came to the Prima hostel, we were kind of scared of the neighborhood and from the trolley num. 15 and actually I wasn’t really satisfied so then in the end of September I moved out to the flat.
I have meet new friends and we had fun all the time together :) we have been travelling also a lot, We were participating in trips organised by ESN RIGA.
We visited Oslo, Stockholm, Tallin, Vilnius and some of the places in Latvia.
The best memories I also have from the event called "sea battle" organised by ESN.
According to RPIVA, I will have nice memories from the classes with Spanish people, and also I really liked classes with Ivars Muzis, he is very nice person.
I have meet so many nice people from all over the world :)... and now, when I’m finishing my writing I’m kind of sad, because that great time which I spent here is going to the end... nothing is forever :) so have to move on... :)
Thank you Inga for your help and all of the teachers from RPIVA :)

I am really satisfied that I decided to go in Riga and visit these beautiful country. I also appreciate that Latvia is so close to other north countries and it isn’t so expensive to go there. I am glad that I had opportunity to sing in Balta choir and to go with them to Norway. I like Christmas atmosphere here, so many many Christmas trees and nice decorations.

I am glad, I've decided to go on Erasmus. Person get to know new people, has a chance to travel and visit places and be involved in "cultural exchange". I've enjoyed my time here, it was a great experience! :)

Erasmus exchange in Riga was a big educational and life experience for me.
Exchange program fulfilled my expectations and also widened my views about areas of psychology and other cultures and interests of young people from all over the world.
I was very satisfied with the help and answers I've got from the international office at RPIVA  before coming to Riga and during my stay here.
I was also very lucky to get a great buddy which helped me getting around Riga all the time and making my short stay here easier.
From the courses and teachers I chosed at RPIVA, I gained lot of new knowledge about psychology in practice and connection of it with other science (business psychology and economics).
Because of that positive experience, I would like to explore more positive psychology and biodanza in the future and implement it in working with children which is my big wish.
After coming to Riga I got to know a lot of  interesting people who told me about different ways of studying, practices and working  oportunities in EU.
All in all, it was a worthy and beautiful experience which I would recommend to everybody.

Erasmus was a unique experience in my life. I had the opportunity to know a new country, new people and a different culture. Riga despite very cold is a very beautiful city especially this Christmas season. As for RPIVA is a great university has good teachers and is very welcoming.
No doubt that it is an advise for other students to do Erasmus here.

- Erasmus, it was very gratifying because I had contact with a new culture, new people and a different way of life. Could broaden my horizons and learn a bit more, in terms of speaking English or being in an unknown country.
- The city of Riga is very beautiful and has very interesting sites and monuments to see and visit, such as: Jurmala, Old Town, The Statue of Liberty and the parks.
- Teachers were always watching our performance and helped us on what we needed.

Erasmus is a joy of life.
Erasmus brought memorable changes in my life. I've met a lot of people, I learned different cultures. I saw a lot of countries through Erasmus. Above all, I think that I have responsible and capable of only one of the decisions. Erasmus is one of the major circuits in your life. I wish that Erasmus is youth experience to every human.
